Job summary

Abdulwahed Bin Shabib Investment Group LLC is seeking a proactive procurement professional to source perfumes and cosmetic products from the UAE and international markets. You will align procurement with sales, marketing, finance and supply chain goals while building strong supplier partnerships.

The role focuses on forecasting, inventory planning, category management, and driving profitability through optimized pricing and stock management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience in perfumes, cosmetics, beauty products, or FMCG procurement and category management.
• Strong negotiation, forecasting, and inventory planning skills.
• Excellent analytical and commercial decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in inventory planning systems and demand forecasting tools (Excel).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented professional with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure perfumes and cosmetic products from UAE and international markets.
• Identify, evaluate and develop suppliers across regions to secure pricing, quality, and supply.
• Develop procurement plans and demand-driven replenishment strategies to ensure stock availability.
• Create and execute category action plans based on market trends and business objectives.
• Analyze demand forecasts and translate them into procurement and inventory plans.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing movements, and emerging opportunities to support category growth.
• Manage order planning, inventory levels, stock rotation and replenishment cycles through effective OPSI analysis.
• Drive category profitability through sourcing, pricing, and inventory management decisions.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain to align procurement with goals.
• Maintain deep understanding of products, pricing, demand, and market dynamics.
• Aim for optimal inventory levels with minimal excess, stockouts, and obsolescence.
• Take ownership of stock performance and suggest sell-out strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Source and procure perfumes and cosmetic products from the UAE and international markets Identify evaluate and develop suppliers across different regions to secure competitive pricing quality products and reliable supply Develop procurement plans and demand-driven replenishment strategies to ensure optimal stock availability Create and execute category action plans based on market trends consumer demand and business objectives Analyze demand forecasts and translate them into effective procurement and inventory plans Identify target customer segments and recommend the right product portfolio to maximize sales and profitability Work closely with Sales Marketing Finance and Supply Chain teams to align procurement activities with business goals Monitor market trends competitor activities pricing movements and emerging opportunities to support category growth Manage order planning inventory levels stock rotation and replenishment cycles through effective OPSI analysis Develop sales and inventory projections based on sell-out trends and demand forecasting Take ownership of stock performance and provide recommendations on sell-out strategies to maximize inventory turnover Maintain an in-depth understanding of the products being purchased and sold including pricing positioning consumer demand and market dynamics Ensure optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess stock stock-outs and obsolete inventory Drive category profitability through effective sourcing pricing and inventory management decisions Demonstrate strong commercial awareness analytical capabilities and business acumen in all procurement and category management activities
