Job summary

Golden Square Engineering Consultants - GS, based in Dubai, seeks a Senior Planning Engineer to lead project scheduling for high-rise and large-scale buildings. The role emphasizes Primavera P6 development, progress monitoring, and coordination with project teams in a Dubai-based environment.

The ideal candidate brings 8-10+ years of UAE construction planning experience, strong CPM knowledge, and the ability to support EOT claims and forecast project performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8-10+ years of construction planning experience.
• Strong UAE construction/main contracting experience.
• Experience in high-rise, residential or large-scale building projects preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 – Mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of CPM, resource loading, delay analysis and EOT.
• Excellent reporting, analytical and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage baseline, revised and recovery programmes.
• Prepare and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor planned vs. actual progress and critical path activities.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, S-curves and look-ahead schedules.
• Conduct delay analysis and support Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
• Prepare mitigation and recovery plans for project delays.
• Monitor manpower, resources, procurement and project milestones.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, site teams, consultants and subcontractors.
• Identify schedule risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Support management with accurate project forecasts and planning reports.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our construction team in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage baseline, revised and recovery programmes
• Prepare and update project schedules using Primavera P6
