Job summary

Lincoln Star Group in Dubai, UAE, seeks an experienced Planning Engineer to lead detailed project schedules and look-ahead plans within the construction industry.

You will monitor progress, perform critical path analysis, and coordinate with project teams, delivering regular management reports and accurate planning documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in UAE construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling and progress monitoring.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, baseline programs and work plans.
• Prepare project timelines, resource plans, look-ahead schedules and progress reports.
• Monitor actual project progress against approved schedules and identify delays or deviations.
• Perform critical path analysis and highlight potential project risks and bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Procurement and Site teams.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports for management.
• Track manpower, materials, equipment and project milestones.
• Support recovery and mitigation planning for delayed activities.
• Attend project progress meetings and provide schedule updates.
• Maintain accurate planning documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

• UAE construction experience is mandatory.
