Job summary

MIRA CONSTRUCTION L.L.C in Dubai seeks an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to lead project schedules for our luxury construction team. You will develop, maintain and monitor detailed programmes from inception to completion, including baseline and recovery plans and regular progress updates.

The role requires UAE experience, a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, and advanced Primavera P6 skills.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our luxury construction team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in planning and project controls within high-end construction projects, with a proven track record of managing project schedules, monitoring progress, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Previous experience working specifically as a Senior Planning Engineer in UAE is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules from project commencement through completion.
• Prepare baseline programmes, recovery programmes, look-ahead schedules, and progress updates.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify delays, risks, and potential impacts.
• Prepare regular progress reports, dashboards, and schedule updates for management.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Analyse project performance and provide recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
• Track critical path activities and ensure timely execution of key milestones.
• Conduct delay analysis and assist in developing mitigation and recovery plans.
• Review contractor and subcontractor programmes and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Monitor planned vs. actual progress and maintain accurate project records.
• Participate in project planning meetings and provide updates on programme status.
• Support resource planning, productivity monitoring, and forecasting.
• Ensure planning and reporting processes are aligned with project requirements and company standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in planning and project controls within the construction industry.
• Previous experience specifically serving as a Senior Planning Engineer is mandatory.
• Experience working on luxury, high-end residential, hospitality, commercial, or premium construction projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, and project controls.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, progress measurement, critical path analysis, and delay analysis.
• Excellent understanding of construction methodologies and project execution.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
