Support the Resident Engineer in planning,
programme review, progress monitoring,
reporting, and delay/risk tracking for the Project.
- Review the Contractor’s baseline programme, revised programmes, recovery programmes, look ahead programmes, method statements, resource histograms, progress S-curves, cash flow, and programme narratives for compliance with the Contract and Project requirements.
- Monitor actual progress against the approved baseline programme, identify slippage, critical path changes, delayed activities, resource constraints, Prepare and maintain progress dashboards, weekly and monthly progress reports, planning registers, action trackers, delay logs, risk logs, and other reporting tools required by Dubai Municipality.
- Verify the Contractor’s reported progress, quantities, productivity rates, site records, and supporting evidence in coordination with the Resident Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Inspectors, and discipline engineers. and potential impacts on milestones and completion dates.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting for construction and/or construction supervision of civil infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience in baseline programme review, programme updates, recovery planning, critical path analysis, progress measurement, delay tracking, and reporting for infrastructure works.
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and progress reporting tools. PowerPoint knowledge shall be considered as an advantage.
