Job summary

Black & Grey HR is recruiting a Process Manager (PLA) for a leading Abu Dhabi-based bio polymer manufacturer. The role leads production, process optimization, and scaling of PLA and related bio polymers, with hands-on technical leadership to ensure quality and efficiency at scale.

The ideal candidate will have 15 years in the polymer industry, with 5+ years in technology or process leadership, and a strong background in PLA production methods and process safety.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in polymer industry with 5+ years in technology/leadership roles in bio polymer manufacturing.
• Hands-on PLA production experience from pilot to commercial scale.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production & process management to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety compliance.
• Lead process optimization to improve yield, reduce cost and enhance product quality.
• Lead scale-up of bio polymer production from pilot to commercial scale and sign off on critical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership in polymer chemistry and PLA production methods.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, ASTM and internal quality standards.
• Build and coach a high-performing operations team focused on safety and innovation.
• Document processes, findings and improvements using PFDs and P&IDs.
