Job summary

Arabian Construction Company seeks a QA/QC Inspector – Piping to verify piping fabrication, welding and installation in line with drawings, WPS/PQR, codes and project specs. You will coordinate with site teams and TPIs, monitor welder performance, and maintain daily quality inspection records.

Responsibilities include reviewing ITPs, materials, hydrotest packages, and NCRs/CARs, ensuring ISO 9001 and HSE compliance. CSWIP/BGAS preferred; MS Office proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent technical qualification required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as QA/QC Inspector – Piping in Oil & Gas or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3, API, ASTM piping codes and standards.
• Proficient at reading P&IDs, isometrics, and GA drawings.
• Experience in material verification, piping inspections, hydrotesting, and NDT coordination.
• Ability to review welding documents, inspection reports, and quality records.
• CSWIP / BGAS certification preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Awareness of HSE regulations and ISO 9001 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review project specs, drawings, ITPs, method statements and quality procedures for piping works.
• Inspect incoming piping materials, fittings, valves and consumables; verify MTCs, traceability and compliance.
• Conduct fit-up, dimensional, orientation, and alignment inspections prior to welding.
• Verify correct application of WPS/PQR, welding consumables, pre-heat, interpass temp and welding parameters.
• Monitor fabrication, erection, welding, NDT, hydrotesting, flushing, drying and reinstatement.
• Coordinate with site engineers, construction teams and NDT subcontractors for inspection/testing schedules.
• Review and verify NDT reports, hydrotest packages, pressure test records and as-built docs.
• Raise NCRs/CARs for non-conformances and ensure timely closure.
• Liaise with clients and TPIs for hold points, witness points and final doc approval.
• Maintain inspection records, calibration logs and welder performance records.
• Ensure all activities comply with QMS and HSE requirements.
