Job summary

Ali & Sons is seeking an experienced QC Inspector Piping to carry out quality inspections of piping fabrication and installation activities. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, procedures and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Diploma or Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Relevant QC/Inspection certifications (CSWIP 3.1 / AWS / ASNT) are an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Relevant QC/Inspection certification (CSWIP 3.1 / AWS / ASNT or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a QC Inspector Piping in Oil & Gas, EPC, fabrication, offshore or marine.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection of piping fabrication and installation activities per drawings, ITPs and project requirements.
• Verify piping components against specifications and material requirements.
• Check dimensional accuracy, alignment, orientation and fit-up of piping systems.
• Inspect pipe fit-up, welding activities and completed piping assemblies.
• Coordinate and witness inspections with QA/QC, engineering, production and client reps.
• Monitor NDT activities and review related inspection reports and NCRs follow-up.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists and quality documentation.
