Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years as QA/QC Inspector – Piping in Oil & Gas or construction.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3, API, ASTM piping codes.
• Ability to read P&IDs, isometric drawings, and GA drawings.
• Experience in material verification, piping inspections, hydrotesting, and NDT coordination.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• CSWIP / BGAS certification preferred.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Awareness of HSE regulations and ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

• Review project specs, drawings, ITPs and quality procedures for piping works.
• Inspect incoming piping materials; verify MTCs and traceability.
• Conduct fit-up, dimensional, orientation, and alignment inspections prior to welding.
• Verify WPS/PQR application, welding consumables, pre-heat and parameters.
• Monitor fabrication, erection, welding, NDT, hydrotesting, flushing, drying.
• Coordinate with site engineers, construction teams and NDT subcontractors.
• Review NDT reports, hydrotest packages and as-built docs.
• Raise NCRs/CARs for non-conformances and ensure closure.
• Liaise with clients and TPIs for inspection hold/witness points.
• Maintain inspection records, calibration logs, welder performance.
• Ensure compliance with QMS and HSE requirements.
