The role focuses on pipeline integrity planning, PIMS database coordination, integrity reporting, threat analysis, defect evaluation, repair follow‑up, and compliance monitoring across pipeline assets in a large industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Pipeline Integrity Management System database and related applications.
  • Support the development, update, and maintenance of procedures for PIMS implementation, reporting, verification, and auditing.
  • Coordinate data gathering between the Pipeline Integrity unit, Maintenance, Inspection, and Operations teams before updates are made to the central pipeline database.
  • Perform data quality checks to ensure pipeline information is accurate, complete, traceable, and suitable for integrity assessment and reporting.
  • Coordinate the issuance, regular review, and update of written Integrity Management Plans for all pipelines through the PIMS software solution.
  • Support implementation of the Integrity Management Plan and evaluate its effectiveness through verifications, audits, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure required procedures for PIMS implementation are updated regularly in line with operational needs, inspection findings, and system requirements.
  • Coordinate pipeline risk assessments and threat analysis reviews for assigned pipeline segments.
  • Support updates to PIMS technical reference manuals based on risk assessment outcomes, threat reviews, asset changes, and engineering input.
  • Coordinate integrity team activities related to operating, maintaining, and improving PIMS software performance and data quality.
  • Work with GIS engineers and relevant disciplines to ensure new or modified pipeline assets are correctly entered into the central pipeline database.
  • Identify pipeline integrity issues and coordinate their resolution with internal teams, technical specialists, or external service providers.
  • Identify additional preventive and mitigation measures to improve pipeline integrity and reduce operational risk.
  • Determine Integrity Management Plan reassessment intervals and suitable reassessment methods for pipeline segments.
  • Establish consistent pipeline integrity reporting formats that support clear management review and stakeholder understanding.
  • Interface with other disciplines to resolve data interpretation issues and incorporate feedback into reporting and process improvements.
  • Coordinate preparation of scopes of work for subject matter experts, whether through company technical services or external resources.
  • Coordinate commissioning of technical reports and follow up on implementation of recommendations.
  • Support the pipeline long‑term replacement plan in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Participate in RootCauseAnalysis activities for incidents, defects, integrity concerns, or pipeline performance issues.
  • Coordinate the issuance of quarterly integrity reports for management and shareholders.
  • Gather and validate data for the division's weekly integrity report.
  • Verify that ISO9001‑2008 system requirements are met and coordinate corrective actions where gaps are identified.
  • Support the implementation of the company's Asset Integrity Policy through structured procedures, accurate data, and disciplined follow‑up.
  • Maintain clear records of integrity assessments, audits, procedures, corrective actions, reports, and pipeline condition updates.
  • Ensure all pipeline integrity coordination activities follow applicable HSE procedures, engineering standards, inspection methods, and company requirements.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in pipeline design, operations, and maintenance within a large industrial organization.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pipeline risk management, pipeline risk analysis, and threat assessment methods.
  • Good understanding of pipeline defect evaluation, repair recommendations, and mitigation planning.
  • Familiarity with fitness for service assessments, integrity recommendations, reassessment intervals, and pipeline condition reviews.
  • Ability to understand and apply relevant engineering codes, standards, inspection methods, and pipeline integrity practices.
  • Experience working with pipeline databases, PIMS software, GIS data interfaces, asset records, and integrity reporting systems.
  • Strong coordination skills with the ability to work across pipeline integrity, maintenance, inspection, operations, engineering, and external technical teams.
  • Knowledge of HSE procedures, safe work practices, asset integrity expectations, and oil and gas operational controls.
