Job summary

American Hospital Dubai seeks a Procurement Leader to oversee the professional and administrative direction of its procurement services within a hospital setting. The role emphasizes accuracy, cost control, and collaboration with Pharmacy and accounts payable to ensure timely and compliant procurement processes.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's in Business Management (or related field), at least three years of healthcare procurement experience, and familiarity with JCIA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare setting or pharmacy procurement.
• Knowledge of JCIA standards and drug-use control functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall professional and administrative direction of procurement services.
• Reviews orders and requisitions for accuracy and need; forwards to accounts payable.
• Monitors inventory levels, stock-outs, and conducts cost analyses.
• Coordinates product returns and supports market trend studies.
• Maintains confidentiality and professional ethics across procurement activities.
• Communicates with Pharmacy and other departments to manage requisitions in progress.
