Job summary

American Hospital Dubai is seeking a pharmacist to lead medication distribution and ensure safe, effective drug therapy in a hospital setting. The role requires a Bachelor's in Pharmacy, DHA license, and at least 3 years of hospital experience, with strong communication, confidentiality, and ERP skills to support clinical pharmacy services in Dubai.

The pharmacist will monitor drug interactions, counsel patients, supervise staff, and ensure accurate record-keeping and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Current active home country registration and DHA license.
• Minimum 3 years hospital/clinic pharmacist experience.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions to ensure appropriate therapy and dispensing per prescribers.
• Monitor patient medication profiles to prevent interactions and adverse reactions.
• Provide drug information and communicate with physicians, nurses, and staff.
• Maintain patient medication profiles during downtime or verbal orders.
• Counsel patients on proper use of medications and lifestyle advice.
• Ensure proper labeling, dosage information and safety precautions.
