Job summary

Al Nasiya General Contracting in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Permits Officer to prepare, review, and submit government permit applications, and to track approvals while ensuring compliance with local codes, standards and regulations.

The role requires coordination with project managers, MEP engineers, consultants, and authorities to secure timely approvals, maintain records, and support inspections. Familiarity with TAMM, DOE, ICT and Abu Dhabi authorities is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years UAE experience.
• Experience in permit processing, regulatory compliance, and coordination with local authorities and government entities in Abu Dhabi or the wider UAE.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and related construction processes, including familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and submit permit applications to relevant authorities.
• Track approval statuses and ensure compliance with local codes, standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers, MEP engineers, consultants and government agencies to secure approvals within project timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of permits and approvals; update project teams on regulatory requirements.
• Support inspections and site visits by authorities.
• Obtain all government approvals and NOCs; submit applications through TAMM.
• Maintain approval schedules and documentation; liaise with clients regarding authority permits.
