Job summary

HSBC UAE is seeking a Performance & Reward Partner to embed performance management and support pay and benefits outcomes across the UAE. You will align reward approaches with HSBC values and local rules, and work with senior stakeholders to provide inputs to annual and off-cycle pay decisions.

The role involves overseeing reward reporting, governance, and ensuring reliable pay review execution. Flexible working options are available subject to approvals and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience embedding performance management and reward policies in a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of compensation structures and market salary methodologies.
• Ability to navigate local regulatory requirements and translate changes into practical actions.
• Experience managing end-to-end pay review cycles including budgets and governance.
• Experience overseeing benefits plans and cost-effective policies.

Responsibilities

• Embed performance management policy across the UAE in line with global standards and local requirements.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to align reward approaches with business aims and HSBC values.
• Review existing reward programmes and help design new ones to stay effective and compliant.
• Oversee reward reporting and communications to senior stakeholders, consultancies and regulators.
• Manage the annual pay review cycle including budgets, eligibility checks and system readiness.
• Provide inputs to pay review decisions on and off-cycle including FP ranges and market data.
• Oversee the benefits proposition and cost-effective policies.
• Shape wellness and recognition propositions supporting policy implementation.
• Interpret regulatory changes and coordinate with regulators on pay and reward requirements for UAE.
