Job summary

The Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi seeks a professional to implement and monitor the performance management framework for its employees and relevant social sector entities in line with Abu Dhabi Government policies.

You will develop career paths and succession plans, maintain performance and training records, and prepare periodic reports to support management decision‑making and business continuity.

Responsibilities

• Implement the employee performance management framework for the Department and relevant Social Sector entities in accordance with Abu Dhabi Government policies.
• Prepare and implement career path plans to support employees’ career progression and retention.
• Prepare and implement succession and replacement plans to ensure business continuity.
• Maintain employee records related to performance management, individual training plans, and other relevant records and documentation.
• Prepare periodic reports on employee performance, development plans, completed training plans, and other related areas.
• Prepare and implement employee performance evaluation plans to identify employees’ strengths and areas for improvement and provide recommendations.
• Prepare reports and analyze data periodically and upon request to support management decision-making.
• Report operational risks or obstacles that may affect the achievement of organizational objectives and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure the implementation of policies and procedures applicable to the role.
• Work closely with relevant internal and external stakeholders, as required, to achieve the intended objectives.

Job description

Implementing the performance management framework for the Department’s employees and relevant social sector entities in accordance with approved policies. The role also contributes to the preparation and implementation of career path and succession plans, monitors performance records and training plans, and prepares periodic reports to enhance employee performance and support business continuity.
