Job summary

Allocation Assist in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Consultant Pediatric Anesthesiologist to deliver specialized anesthesia care for pediatric patients and collaborate with surgeons, pediatricians, intensivists, and allied teams.

The role emphasizes comprehensive perioperative management, airway expertise, and participation in teaching and quality improvement within a high-standard clinical setting.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Anesthesiology.
• Fellowship or additional training in Pediatric Anesthesia preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative anesthesia care for pediatric patients.
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and optimize patients prior to procedures.
• Administer general, regional, and sedation anesthesia as required.
• Manage pediatric airway emergencies and complex cases.
• Provide perioperative pain management.
• Monitor patients during anesthesia and recovery.
• Collaborate with pediatric surgeons and other clinicians.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Follow DOH regulations and hospital policies; uphold patient safety standards.
• Participate in governance, quality improvement, teaching, and CME.
