Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a Consultant Pediatric Anesthesiology Specialist in Dubai, UAE to provide advanced anesthesia for pediatric patients. The role integrates pre-, intra-, and post-operative care with emphasis on safety, training, and departmental quality improvement.

The ideal candidate holds an MD with residency in Anesthesiology, a pediatric anesthesia fellowship, and board certification; 2–5 years of consultant experience in pediatric anesthesia is preferred.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with residency in Anesthesiology.
• Fellowship or advanced training in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
• Board certification such as ABMS/UK/Canada or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–5 years of consultant-level experience in pediatric anesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe anesthesia care for neonates to adolescents undergoing procedures.
• Develop anesthesia plans based on history, surgery, and risk.
• Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.
• Respond to pediatric emergencies and support critical care teams.
• Supervise juniors and fellows during procedures and training.
• Participate in audits, safety programs and quality improvement.
• Support teaching sessions and medical simulations.
