Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a Consultant Pediatric Anesthesiologist in Dubai to oversee perioperative anesthesia for neonates through adolescents, including elective and emergency procedures.

You will conduct detailed pre‑anesthetic assessments, tailor age‑ and weight‑based plans, manage pediatric airways, monitor critical parameters, participate in critical care and education, and collaborate with surgeons, nurses, intensivists, and families to ensure safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Accredited residency in Anesthesiology.
• Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology from a recognized institution.
• Board certification such as American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent.
• UAE licensing or eligibility to obtain the professional license.
• Experience with neonates and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia services for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents.
• Conduct detailed pre-anesthetic assessments including airway status and risk.
• Develop individualized anesthetic plans based on age and weight.
• Administer general anesthesia, sedation, and other pediatric techniques.
• Manage complex pediatric airways and difficult airway scenarios.
• Monitor vital systems and use advanced monitoring where needed.
• Coordinate perioperative fluid therapy, analgesia, and recovery.
• Support pediatric emergency procedures and post-anesthesia care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, nurses, and families.
• Mentor residents and junior staff; participate in education.
