Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a seasoned pediatric anesthesiologist to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves neonatal and pediatric anesthesia across high-volume centers, with emphasis on airway management and perioperative care.

The ideal candidate holds MBBS/MD, completed pediatric anesthesiology training, board certification, and eligible DOH/HAAD license, with 3–5 years post-consultant experience.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
• Residency in Anesthesiology with pediatric subspecialty training.
• Board Certification (e.g., ABMS, RC, Arab Board, or equivalent).
• Eligibility for DOH/HAAD Consultant License.
• Minimum 3–5 years post-consultant experience in pediatric anesthesia preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based anesthesia care for pediatric patients from neonates to adolescents.
• Perform comprehensive preoperative assessment and risk stratification.
• Deliver intraoperative management including airway, ventilation, and monitoring.
• Manage anesthesia for high-risk pediatric and neonatal surgeries.
• Oversee postoperative recovery and pain management.
• Support PICU/NICU teams with airway management and sedation.
• Engage in pediatric emergency response and resuscitation.
• Ensure adherence to pediatric anesthesia safety standards and guidelines.
• Participate in audits, morbidity and mortality reviews, and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
• Teach and supervise residents, fellows, nurses, and allied health staff.
• Participate in simulation-based training for pediatric emergencies.
• Engage in research, academic activities, and continuous professional development.
• Contribute to departmental policy development, clinical pathways, and patient-safety programs.
