Job summary

UniqPay is seeking an Operations Support Associate to act as the execution layer of the operations team in a fast-moving payments environment. You will monitor queues, flag issues, assist merchants with onboarding, and support data reconciliation and reporting.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in payment or banking operations, solid spreadsheet skills, and a disciplined approach to following procedures. A finance/business degree is preferred; pre-launch environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years in payment operations, banking operations, or a related technical support role.
• Basic understanding of payment flows and ability to read transaction logs and dashboards.
• Comfortable with spreadsheets, ticketing tools, and internal monitoring systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow troubleshooting frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Watch the queues: monitor pay-in and payout transactions daily using dashboards.
• Catch and flag anomalies, failures, delays, or suspicious patterns for escalation.
• Provide first level integration support: onboarding checklists and credential setup.
• Support reconciliation: match data, log discrepancies, and prepare reports.
• Maintain accurate logs of every transaction and support action.
• Follow the playbook for transaction handling, escalation, and documentation.
• Talk to merchants: handle routine integration queries clearly with guidance.
