Job summary

The St. Regis Abu Dhabi is seeking a committed Commis 1/2 to support daily kitchen operations under the guidance of senior chefs. You will prepare and portion ingredients, follow recipes, and maintain a clean, organized station to ensure uninterrupted service.

You should demonstrate initiative, contribute to training junior talent, adhere to safety standards, and participate in the hotel's health and safety program while upholding the brand's luxury service standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related work experience in a luxury hotel.
• Ability to produce own work in accordance with deadlines.
• Active participation in culinary training and skill development.

Responsibilities

• Review production sheets with chefs to ensure timely preparation.
• Prepare and delegate production of food items to meet standards and timelines.
• Maintain clean, organized workstation and proper storage of food.
• Adhere to standardized recipes to ensure consistency.
• Log information in the kitchen log book and monitor line checks.
• Assist in training junior staff and apprentices.
