Job summary

Woopel in Abu-Dhabi, UAE, is seeking a Pastry Chef to lead the production of desserts and pastries in our kitchens, including prep, doughs, shaping and baking, with a focus on quality and presentation.

You will work with the team to ensure all orders are met on time, maintain cleanliness, follow safety regulations, and contribute to new recipe development. At least 1 year of pastry experience is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience working as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of baking techniques, decorations, doughs, batters etc.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens etc.
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Knowledge of food health and safety regulations.

Job Summary

The successful applicant will take responsibility for the production of desserts and pastries in our kitchens. This includes the preparation of ingredients, making doughs, shaping and baking products, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation as well as adhering to safety regulations. The Pastry Chef will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen, developing new recipes and working with other members of the team to ensure that all orders are met accurately and on time.
