Job summary

voco Dubai The Palm in Dubai is seeking a Chef de Partie (Pastry) to lead pastry operations under the Head Chef. You will produce high-quality pastries, control costs, and ensure HACCP compliance in all pastry outlets and buffets.

Requirements include 2 years of pastry kitchen experience with at least 1 year in a similar role, knowledge of pastry and bakery, and a strong HACCP background. Join IHG's voco team for a dynamic, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years related experience in Pastry kitchen including at least 1 year in same position.
• Knowledge on Pastry and Bakery.
• Strong HACCP procedures and application.
• Good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills.
• A true “team-player” mentality and flexible attitude towards a diverse set of tasks

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient operation of pastry production areas under the Head Chef.
• Produce and maintain the highest pastry quality and controls for all products.
• Analyze cost and quality of food production.
• Check pastry outlets, buffets and displays for creativity, quality and hygiene.
• Share responsibility for proper storing procedures, food orders, cost, equipment and sanitation.
• Ensure HACCP standards are met and monitored regularly.
• Control pastry food cost within budget.
• Follow pastry handling and storage procedures.
