Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island is seeking a Pastry & Bakery Commis I to assist in daily kitchen operations and uphold high pastry standards.

The role requires at least 1 year in a luxury brand kitchen, strong English communication, and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude. Competitive benefits and employee meals are offered, with full‑time hours in a prestigious property on Al Maryah Island.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a luxury brand kitchen.
• Outgoing personality with a can‑do attitude.
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations.
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items in accordance with standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs, and given instructions.
• Assist the Chef de Partie/Demi Chef de Partie/Commis I in developing standard recipes and ensure strict compliance with them.
• Participate in product development and support the smooth, efficient operation of the kitchen.
• Apply sound knowledge of pastry & bakery and food service sanitation to perform duties efficiently and productively.
• Maintain complete knowledge and adherence to Four Seasons Food Standards.
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude at all times.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Sous Chef or Executive Pastry Chef.
