Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Abu Dhabi, located in Emirates Palace, seeks a Director of Palace Operations to lead day-to-day Palace guest residence services and ensure exceptional, highly personalised service for VIPs while maintaining luxury brand standards.

The role oversees Palace Operations and Palace Butler teams, coordinates VIP arrivals and events, and collaborates with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Culinary, Engineering, Security, and Guest Relations to ensure flawless delivery and discretion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in luxury hospitality, with significant experience in hotel operations and guest-facing environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; additional languages would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Palace and ensure seamless service delivery in accordance with luxury hospitality standards.
• Lead and supervise the Palace Operations and Palace Butler teams ensuring effective manpower deployment and operational coverage.
• Coordinate all pre-arrival, arrival in-house and departure arrangements for VIP, VVIP, and high-profile guests.
• Ensure guest preferences and personalized requirements are accurately communicated and executed.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Culinary, Engineering, Security, Guest Relations and other departments to ensure seamless Palace operations.
