Ideal candidates have a trade certificate in painting and decorating with experience in hospitality or large-scale facilities, plus a strong focus on safety and accuracy.

• Trade Certificate in Painting and Decorating or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in commercial painting and facility maintenance, ideally in hospitality or large facilities.
• Knowledge of painting techniques, surface prep and finishing standards.
• Color matching, mixing and application across surfaces.
• Strong health, safety and fire-life-safety awareness.
• Good stamina, dexterity and ability to work at heights.

Responsabilidades

• Execute high-quality interior and exterior painting projects with surface prep and finishing.
• Perform wallpaper application, plaster patching, caulking and decorative finishing.
• Prepare surfaces: cleaning, sanding, priming for paint adhesion.
• Identify wear-and-tear issues and implement preventative maintenance.
• Operate painting equipment safely and store properly.
• Mix and match colors to project specs and client needs.
• Adhere to health, safety, and fire-life-safety protocols.
• Coordinate with engineering, housekeeping and other teams to minimize disruption.
• Document work, materials used and issues encountered.
• Respond to maintenance requests and manage time to meet deadlines.

Job Description

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented **Painter** to join our team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating work across various facilities and spaces. You'll combine your trade expertise with a proactive, problem-solving approach to ensure all surfaces meet our exacting standards while maintaining a safe and professional work environment. Your collaborative spirit and commitment to excellence will be essential as you work alongside our facilities and maintenance teams to keep our properties in pristine condition.

• Execute high-quality interior and exterior painting projects, including surface preparation, primer application, and final finishing to achieve superior results
• Perform wallpaper application, plaster patching, caulking, and other decorative finishing work with precision and attention to detail
• Conduct thorough surface preparation work, including cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and longevity
• Identify and address wear-and-tear issues through regular inspections, implementing preventative maintenance to minimize future defects
• Maintain and operate painting equipment and tools safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and upkeep
• Mix and match colors accurately to meet project specifications and client requirements
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and fire-life-safety protocols, ensuring safe work practices in all environments
• Collaborate effectively with engineering, housekeeping, and other team members to coordinate projects and minimize operational disruption
• Document work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered with transparency and accuracy
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders, managing time effectively to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

• Trade Certificate in Painting and Decorating or equivalent demonstrable industry experience
• Proven experience in commercial painting and facility maintenance, ideally within hospitality, residential, or large-scale facility management environments
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and finishing standards
• Proficiency in color matching, mixing, and application across various surfaces and materials
• Solid understanding of health, safety, and fire-life-safety protocols specific to painting operations
• Excellent physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and work at heights when necessary
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines
• Positive, customer-focused attitude with a willingness to support team members and adapt to changing priorities
• Familiarity with UAE climate considerations and their impact on painting and surface finishing work is preferred
