Job summary

Novotel & Adagio Premium Dubai Al Barsha is seeking a skilled Painter to maintain and enhance the hotel's interiors and guest areas. You will prepare surfaces, mix colors, apply finishes, and ensure clean, safe work zones while coordinating with other teams.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of professional painting experience in hospitality or commercial settings, good attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with others across varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional painting experience in hospitality or commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of paints, finishes and surface preparation.
• Good communication in English; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute painting projects in guest areas, rooms, and exterior surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding and priming.
• Mix and match colors to ensure consistency across projects.
• Apply paint with brushes, rollers, and sprayers with precision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional painter, preferably in a hospitality or commercial setting
• Proficiency in various painting techniques, including color mixing, application methods, and surface preparation
• Extensive knowledge of different paint types, finishes, and their appropriate uses
• Experience with timber treatments and specialty coating applications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, consistent results
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and proper handling of painting materials
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous
