Job summary

Xpertfirst International FZ -LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to perform testing, energization, and commissioning of HV/LV systems during planned outage campaigns. The role requires hands-on expertise with switchgear, transformers, and protective relays, plus the ability to read SLDs and coordinate with site teams.

Immediate availability is required; candidates with 5–10 years of outage experience and UAE/GCC site exposure will be preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 5–10 years of outage/shutdown testing & commissioning experience on switchgear, transformers, and protective relays.
• Hands-on energization and outage execution experience.
• UAE/GCC site experience is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing and commissioning on HV/LV systems during planned outage campaigns.
• Carry out functional testing, energization, and troubleshooting on motors, generators, and SWGR (HV and LV).
• Test and commission transformers and protective relays; inspect LV panels and distribution boards.
• Prepare test reports and punch lists; ensure compliance with PTW and HSE procedures.
