Job summary

Abu Dhabi Manpower Supply is seeking a skilled electrical commissioning professional to oversee the execution of commissioning tasks, testing, and documentation. The role involves organizing and performing SAT, energization, and comprehensive testing on HV/LV equipment and switchboards, while ensuring HSE standards are strictly followed.

You will lead technicians, interface with multiple disciplines, prepare method statements, and monitor vendor activities to ensure on-time project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Ensure PPE, PTW and HSE requirements are followed at worksite
• Receive project documentation and understand electrical scope of work
• Organize and perform electrical commissioning, SAT, energization and functional testing
• Work on ECMS, PMS, FMS, HV/LV switchboards, protection relays and MCC; heavy transformer energization and testing
• Provide detailed testing reports and documentation
• Assist in database preparation for pre-commissioning status index
• Receive project documentation and understand scope of work
• Lead a team of technicians to undertake commissioning activities
• Interface with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities
• Prepare method statements, procedures and routines where required
• Report on work progress, flag potential problems or delays and recommend solutions
• Plan, monitor and assist in vendor activities
• Ensure temporary supplies and commissioning spares are adequate for subsystem testing
• Perform inter-discipline checks
• Comply with HSE standards
