Job summary

ICES: Data, Discovery, Better Health in the UAE is seeking an experienced Electrical Testing & Commissioning Engineer for data centre projects. You will lead testing of electrical systems, review drawings and documentation, and ensure systems perform to design parameters.

The role requires strong hands-on electrical knowledge, ability to interpret test data, troubleshoot faults, and coordinate with contractors and project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong experience in Electrical Testing & Commissioning.
• Data centre or critical infrastructure project experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of LV/MV systems, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, ATS/STS.
• Hands-on knowledge of installation, connection and operation of electrical systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering numbers and assess performance against design.

Electrical Testing & Commissioning Engineer – Data Centre

Location: UAE / GCC
Industry: Data Centers / Critical Infrastructure

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Testing & Commissioning Engineer with strong hands-on experience in data centers or other critical infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of electrical engineering systems, installation, testing and commissioning, with the ability to interpret engineering parameters, test results and system performance—not just follow testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Knowledge of formal commissioning processes is an advantage but not a deal breaker.
