Yas Plaza Hotels by Aldar Hospitality is seeking a Room Service Order Taker to coordinate all room service requests and ensure guest satisfaction. You will handle orders, be knowledgeable about menus and promotions, and support the team on service excellence.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and a willingness to work with the hotel team across departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in hospitality or vocational training in F&B.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and guest service standards.

Responsabilités

• Take and place room service orders accurately and promptly.
• Know menus and promotions; upsell to guests when appropriate.
• Answer phones and coordinate with kitchen and service staff.
• Maintain grooming and appearance standards; attend training sessions.
• Collaborate with supervisor and other departments as needed.

About the Job

As a Room Service Order Taker, you are responsible for coordinating all Room Service service requirements and ensuring immediate action, aiming for the highest possible Guest satisfaction.

About the Job

• Perform tasks as per instructions from the immediate supervisor and as per duty schedule.
• Directly involved in the order taking and order placing process while dealing with guest requests and orders, courteously, efficiently, and promptly
• Know all menus and ongoing promotions in the outlet by heart and gives recommendations to guests upon request.
• Ensure proper appearance and grooming while on duty.
• Answer the Room Service telephones, when required.
• Make himself / herself familiar with all relevant issues concerning the Room Service
• Report cleanliness and maintenance issues to the immediate supervisor
• Attend regular training session in line with the departmental SOP’s i.e. guest care, product knowledge, grooming standards, telephone manners etc.
• Flexible to work in other areas when required by the immediate supervisor.
• Familiar with the company’s internal policies and safety procedures and carries out other related tasks entrusted by the Room Service Manager from time to time.
• Preferably diploma / degree in hospitality or vocational training in food & beverage.
• Previous experiences in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Additional language skills are an advantage.
• Committed and reliable.
