Job summary

Gateworth Group in Dubai is seeking an Operations Executive to ensure scheduling and day-to-day operations run smoothly across trading platforms and logistics operators. You will report to the Chief of Operations and collaborate with traders to optimize cargo movements and confirmations.

The role requires crude oil/energy operations experience, bilingual Chinese-English skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Immediate start is preferred and statutory benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Crude oil and/or product operations experience is required.
• Bi-lingual (Chinese and English) language skills, with the ability to correspond with international counterparties and banks.
• Willing and able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Mature, independent, self-motivated and a team player.
• A minimum of 3 years of trade operations experience with in the energy sector and/or commodities industry.
• Preferably able to start work immediately or on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with traders, manage cargo movements, create schedules and nominations based on the supply and demand plan.
• Establish good working relationships with counterparties, alongside internal and external stakeholders.
• Issue, review and/or trade confirmations, contracts and/or letters of credit.
• Liaise with inspectors, agents, ship brokers, trade counterparties, storage terminals and internal departments to ensure smooth physical operations meeting statutory regulations and availability of quality certificates and test samples.
• Invoice customers and oversee the payment of suppliers/service providers.
• Assist with KYC and counterparty registration.
• Consolidating tender invitations, sending reminders to respective trading desks and recording all bids, offers and information known.
