Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi invites an Operations Associate to keep projects, clients, suppliers and records moving. The role blends data engineering or software background with broad commercial and operational exposure, including site inspections, client and supplier coordination, government licensing processes, and reporting.

You will replace spreadsheets and paper trails with systems, automations and reporting as you learn the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Business welcome).
• 2-3 years of professional experience, ideally including technical work in data, software or systems.
• Confident, professional communicator, comfortable dealing directly with clients and suppliers.
• Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills, including formulas, pivots and data cleanup.
• Comfortable working with databases, structured data and reporting tools.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Well-organised, with a genuine eye for detail in paperwork and documentation.

We are looking for an Operations Associate to keep our projects, clients, suppliers and records moving.

This role suits a candidate with a background in data engineering or software development who has decided they want broader commercial and operational exposure. The majority of the work is operational and relationship-driven: site inspections, client and supplier coordination, government and licensing processes, and reporting. But we deliberately want someone technical in the seat. Much of what we do today is manual, and the right person will steadily replace spreadsheets and paper trails with proper systems, automations and reporting as they learn the business.

If you want to write code full-time, this is not the role. If you want to run operations for a growing development business - dealing with real clients and real contractors - and use your technical skills to do it far better than the average operations hire, read on.
