Job summary

Miral Experiences in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Operations Costuming Assistant Manager to oversee daily wardrobe operations, inventory, and service provider teams across multiple touchpoints. You will ensure costuming readiness, maintain brand standards, and drive continuous improvement in asset utilization and cost optimization.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Operations Management or related field and 3–5 years in operations, hospitality, wardrobe or facilities

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site contractor and service provider teams.
• Ensure costuming facilities are ready (distribution, laundry, stores).
• Maintain and improve processes, SOPs and service standards.
• Induction, safety and training compliance for contractors.
• Monitor attendance, grooming, task completion and workforce planning.
• Drive asset utilization, inventory control and cost optimization.
• Manage costume lifecycle including reuse, disposal and obsolete inventory.

The Operations Costuming Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of costuming services, ensuring colleagues have the right garments, at the right time, and in the right condition to support exceptional guest experiences. This role manages the full costume lifecycle, including inventory management, distribution, maintenance, laundering, alterations, reutilization, and disposal, while leading service provider teams across multiple operational touchpoints.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and contractors, the role ensures operational readiness, compliance with safety standards, service excellence, and efficient asset utilization. The Operations Costuming Assistant Manager plays a key role in maintaining brand standards, enhancing colleague satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement across wardrobe operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee on-site contractor and service provider teams
• Ensure operational readiness across costuming facilities, including:
  • Distribution Counters & Storage
  • Laundry Rooms
  • Chemical Stores
• Maintain and improve operational processes, SOPs, and service standards
• Ensure all contractors complete required induction, safety, and operational training
• Monitor attendance, grooming standards, task completion, and workforce planning
• Coordinate the resolution of maintenance and IT-related issuesPromote a positive workplace culture through effective leadership and coaching
• Review colleague satisfaction feedback and implement service improvements
• Support new projects, service implementations, and operational expansions
• Drive asset utilization, inventory control, and cost optimization initiatives
• Manage costume lifecycle activities, including reuse, disposal, and obsolete inventory identification

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality, Supply Chain, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in operations, hospitality, wardrobe/costuming services, logistics, retail operations, or facilities management
• Experience managing contractors or outsourced service providers
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and operational reporting
