Job summary

Miral Experiences is seeking a Rides Technician to maintain and optimize the operations of its attractions in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you'll ensure the functionality and safety of all rides, performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate will hold a diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering and possess at least three years of relevant experience. Your efforts will directly enhance guest satisfaction at our renowned entertainment destinations.

Job Summary

As a Rides Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing the operations of Miral Experiences’ leisure facilities. You ensure the seamless functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal of all rides and attractions to uphold guest satisfaction. By performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting ride issues, and adhering to manufacturers' requirements, you directly contribute to minimizing downtime and preserving the company’s core processes. This dynamic role demands expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems, collaborative problem‑solving abilities, and a commitment to operational excellence—a key part of shaping unforgettable guest experiences at a leading entertainment destination.

Responsibilities

Maintenance & Safety Execution

• Conduct comprehensive daily checks and implement startup/closure procedures for all rides and attractions to ensure peak operational readiness.

Preventive & Corrective Upkeep

• Execute preventive maintenance programs aligned with manufacturer guidelines to proactively minimize ride downtimes and safeguard guest safety.
• Investigate and resolve corrective maintenance issues meticulously, ensuring no recurrence by documenting root causes and resolutions.

Incident Response

• Provide rapid response to ride emergencies or technical failures, coordinating with team leaders to restore operations efficiently and prioritize guest experience.

Compliance & Reporting

• Complete and submit all preventive maintenance checklists on time and compile detailed reports on ride operational status for leadership review.

Professional Development

• Participate in training programs and team briefings aimed at skill enhancement and operational alignment with company values.

Qualifications

Essential

• A recognized Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in maintenance roles.
• Proficiency in at least one specialized technical domain: Electrical or Mechanical systems.
• Comprehension of operations/maintenance manuals for rides and attractions.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Certification or aptitude in physically demanding environments with exposure to hazards (noise, chemicals, extreme temperatures).

Desirable

• An academic degree or vocational diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electro‑Mechanical disciplines.
• 4+ years of specialized experience in maintenance/repair of rides and attractions within theme parks or amusement industries.
• Hands‑on experience interpreting schematic/hydraulic diagrams and troubleshooting mechanical/electrical systems.
• Willingness to upskill in cross‑disciplinary technical areas.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and hazard mitigation strategies in dynamic entertainment settings.
