POSITION PURPOSE:

Sephora Middle East is recruiting a National Makeup Artist based in Sephora University Dubai. The main responsibility of this role is to support the development of the store Makeup team through in‑store coaching, training, mentoring and assessment (about 60% of time). Other tasks will include delivery of Sephora University Makeup training modules (in‑class and digital), support training content creation (including videos), be involved in brand training organization and some admin tasks. The role requires strong collaboration with Retail & Store Managers to support the learning and development of the store Makeup team. The National Makeup Artist will also support cross‑functional events with Marketing/PR and HR, sometimes leading other Makeup Artists/PRO team members. This is a regional role that will require travelling within the GCC region (Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain & Oman) 1 to 2 times per month (up to 68 days in total).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coaching & Support at store level - Visit Sephora stores weekly to provide coaching and assessment.
  • Develop the store Makeup team through feedback and coaching on makeup techniques, selling speech, Sephora Attitude and new product launches.
  • Partner with Retail & Store Managers to align feedback, development plans and follow‑up actions via meetings and reports.
  • Support assessment of identified talents.
Makeup Education
  • Work with the Makeup & Artistry Talent Manager to build and review training plans and calendars.
  • Deliver Sephora University Makeup training modules (in‑class and digital).
  • Teach about makeup trends, services, techniques, selling techniques, cross‑category and product knowledge.
  • Track development progress and learning of the store Makeup team.
  • Support engagement with the digital Sephora Learning App.
Makeup Brand Training
  • Manage admin tasks related to Makeup brand trainings (store visits, digital trainings, attendee lists, tester requests).
  • Support content delivery of multibrand trainings organized internally.
  • Support Makeup brand digital trainings.
  • Support organization and monitoring of Makeup Masterclass training with involved brands.
  • Support yearly Makeup Education events (Community Brand Conventions).
Collaboration & Communication with Business Partners
  • Store & Retail Management share feedback, align on business priorities and support needed at store level.
  • KSA National Makeup Artists collaboration, exchange of best practices and learning from each other.
  • HR support in providing feedback on the store Makeup team and for HR‑organised events.
  • Makeup Offer team tight collaboration at all times to align on priorities & needs.
  • Marketing/PR participate/lead shoots and events acting as a true Sephora Ambassador.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Exceptional artistry skills; being a Sephora Senior MUA or MUA for at least 5 years.
  • Proven record of coaching and developing team members.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Locally mobile (travel within the UAE on a regular basis; driving license & car required) and able to travel regionally.
