Job summary

AMS Group in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Accountant to manage core accounting functions and support financial reporting in an onsite capacity. You will collaborate with colleagues to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial operations within the Abdulla Al Masaood and Sons Group framework.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience, proficiency in Excel, and strong English communication skills. UAE residency is assumed for the candidate in this UAE-based position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience in core functions.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, GL, and month-end closing.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities including accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and post journal entries into the general ledger.
• Process customer invoices and supplier payments accurately and on time.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and prepare relevant schedules.
• Maintain accurate records and financial documentation for assigned entities.
