Job summary

Remote DXB is seeking a UAE-based finance professional to manage GL, AP/AR, VAT, and month-end close in Abu Dhabi. The role handles financial statements, banking reconciliations, and tax compliance.

You will coordinate payroll on WPS, assist with corporate tax returns, and support audits, leveraging ERP systems and advanced Excel for reporting.

Ideal candidates hold ACCA/CMA/CPA/CA qualifications (part or full), with 4–5 years UAE experience and strong English/Arabic communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• 4–5 years UAE accounting/finance experience.
• Hands-on UAE VAT experience and working knowledge of UAE corporate tax.
• Strong month-end close, reconciliations, AP/AR, and payroll/WPS exposure.
• ACCA/CMA/CPA/CA (part-qualified or fully qualified preferred).
• Advanced Excel and ERP/accounting software experience.
• Strong English and Arabic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations and month-end schedules.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow summary, and variance notes for management review.
• Prepare VAT returns and maintain FTA/EmaraTax documentation.
• Support UAE corporate tax computation and annual return preparation.
• Process or support monthly WPS payroll and reconcile payroll entries.
• Support EOSB/final settlement calculations.
• Verify supplier invoices and maintain vendor records.
• Maintain audit-ready schedules and coordinate audit requests.
• Maintain accounting records in ERP systems and use Excel for reporting.
