Job summary

NMDC Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Contracts Engineer to lead the commercial interface of projects, ensuring timely valuations, invoices, and payments, while protecting the company’s position through robust contractual, insurance, and legal processes.

You will work within the project team to manage risk, procurement of sub-contractors, variations and claims, and promote knowledge sharing to build a focused, delivery‑driven commercial capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Strong understanding of commercial and contractual processes.
• Experience with valuations, procurement, variations and claims.

Responsibilities

• Understand risks to the project and manage risk registers and contingencies.
• Comply with NMDC Commercial Procedures at site level.
• Maximise cash flow through timely valuations, invoices, and receipt of payment.
• Ensure project teams have strong commercial focus and leadership.
• Provide input for timely procurement of sub-contractors.
• Prepare variations and claims and contribute to dispute input.
• Promote knowledge sharing and develop a proactive commercial team.
