MediaSource FZC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior Contracts & Commercial professional to lead contract administration across major projects. You will govern contract terms, assess risks, and guide teams on disputes and variations to protect organizational interests.

The role requires 10–12 years of experience in real estate development, construction, or infrastructure, with strong knowledge of FIDIC and negotiation skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related discipline.
• MRICS or equivalent accreditation preferred.
• Minimum 10–12 years of relevant contracts and commercial experience.
• Strong experience in real estate development, construction, infrastructure, or major project environments.
• Knowledge of standard forms of construction contracts, including FIDIC where applicable.

Aufgaben

• Lead contract administration activities across projects from award through close-out.
• Review, interpret, and administer contracts for compliance with terms and organizational requirements.
• Support development, review, negotiation, and finalization of contracts and amendments.
• Monitor obligations, milestones, notices and key dates for timely compliance.
• Manage correspondence, notices, claims, variations, extensions of time, and other matters.
• Review contractor and consultant claims and provide contractual recommendations to leadership.
• Identify risks and mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Procurement, Project, Technical, Finance, and Legal teams.
• Support tendering and procurement through review of terms and proposed amendments.
• Provide contractual guidance to project teams for decision-making.
• Lead contractual negotiations with contractors, consultants, suppliers and others as needed.
• Ensure change control procedures are followed and documentation is complete.
• Maintain records of contracts, amendments, notices, claims, variations, and decisions.
• Monitor compliance and escalate significant non-compliance.
• Support dispute avoidance and resolution through proper contract administration.
• Prepare contractual reports, assessments and recommendations for senior management.
• Support final account negotiations, close-out, and settlement of outstanding matters.
