Job summary

Al Ghurair seeks a Procurement Coordinator to support sourcing, evaluation and purchasing of construction materials and services for civil engineering projects in Dubai, UAE. The role collaborates with Procurement Engineer, Category Manager and Project teams to ensure compliance with technical specs, budgets and delivery schedules.

The candidate will prepare RFQs, coordinate supplier offers, and assist in processing Purchase Orders and related documentation. On-site work arrangement applies.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering (required).
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in engineering procurement.
• Understanding of procurement documentation and supplier quotations.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement planning and coordination for civil projects.
• Coordinate with project teams to identify materials, equipment and services.
• Establish procurement timelines and lead times per project schedules.
• Review requirements to support timely sourcing and purchasing.
• Ensure alignment with budgets, specs and delivery commitments.
• Maintain communication with stakeholders on priorities and requirements.
• Prepare and issue RFQs with complete technical and commercial documentation.
• Follow up with suppliers for quotations and maintain records.
