Job summary

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading construction and fit-out company in Dubai, UAE. A Procurement Engineer with a civil engineering background is sought to manage end-to-end procurement for construction projects, ensuring materials, cost efficiency, and timely delivery to site.

Responsibilities include reviewing BOQs, sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, issuing RFQs and purchase orders, coordinating with site teams, inspecting delivered materials, and pursuing cost-saving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of UAE experience in procurement for building contracting.
• Knowledge of civil materials, construction standards, and local regulations.
• Ability to read technical drawings and BOQs.

Responsibilities

• Review project BOQs, drawings, and specs to determine material requirements.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors for civil materials (steel, cement, MEP, finishes).
• Prepare RFQs, compare bids, and issue purchase orders.
• Coordinate with site teams to align deliveries with project schedules.
• Inspect materials on-site for quality and compliance.
• Identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities.
• Maintain supplier relationships and performance records.
