Job summary

AECOM MIDDLE EAST LIMITED ABU DHABI is seeking a Civil Inspector to join our project team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will monitor construction activities, verify adherence to specifications, and maintain high-quality project delivery while coordinating with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include inspecting roads, earthworks, pavements, drainage, and concrete works; reviewing drawings and method statements; and ensuring accurate documentation and testing records throughout

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in civil inspection for infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Solid understanding of inspection procedures, field testing methodologies, and quality documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor civil and infrastructure works to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Review IRs, shop drawings, method statements, and material approvals with accuracy.
• Coordinate with surveyors for setting-out, levels and as-built information.
• Witness and monitor field/testing activities and maintain testing records.
• Identify non-conforming works and coordinate corrective actions with contractors.
