Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Site Architect in Dubai to oversee architectural aspects of construction projects on-site, ensuring design intent is realized and coordinating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities include site supervision, quality control, and ensuring compliance with local codes and safety regulations. You will interpret drawings, manage changes, and maintain comprehensive site documentation from startup to handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in architectural engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of demonstrable experience in supervision and project administration of architectural works for large-scale Middle East projects.
• Experience with start-up execution and handover of major projects.
• Knowledge of related authorities' requirements and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site construction to ensure architectural design is implemented.
• Monitor quality of materials and workmanship for compliance with design specs.
• Coordinate with contractors and engineers to resolve design or construction issues.
• Prepare progress reports highlighting deviations and proposed solutions.
• Maintain detailed site records including daily logs, inspection reports and change orders.
• Liaise with clients to understand needs and ensure satisfaction with the project.
