Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Site Architect to lead on-site architectural supervision for large-scale projects in the Middle East and ensure the design intent is realized during construction.

The role involves coordinating with contractors, engineers, and clients, maintaining rigorous quality controls, and ensuring compliance with codes and environmental guidelines. Extensive experience and a related degree are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years demonstrable experience in supervision and project administration of architectural works on large-scale projects in the Middle East.
• Bachelor Degree in Architectural Engineering or equivalent; membership in a recognized institution would be preferred (PE/PEng, etc.).
• LEED GA or AP certifications would be a plus

Responsibilities

• Site supervision: oversee construction site to ensure architectural design is implemented correctly per plans.
• Quality control: monitor materials and workmanship for compliance with design specs and standards.
• Coordination: collaborate with contractors, engineers, and professionals to resolve design or construction issues.
• Compliance: ensure activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Problem-solving: address on-site issues and adjust plans as necessary.
• Reporting: prepare and present progress reports highlighting deviations and proposed solutions.
• Documentation: maintain detailed records of site activities including logs, inspection reports, and change orders.
• Client interaction: liaise with clients to understand needs and ensure project satisfaction
