Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Architect Construction Supervision professional for Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will oversee all construction supervision and architectural quality assurance on complex buildings, liaising with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with codes and timelines.

You will lead supervision teams, review methodologies, and maintain rigorous documentation while upholding health, safety, and environmental standards across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction supervision and architectural project management.
• Extensive knowledge of building codes and regulatory requirements in UAE.
• Strong project management and scheduling expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to lead construction supervision teams effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities per drawings, specs and codes.
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with design standards.
• Lead construction supervision teams with clear direction and technical guidance.
• Review methodologies, schedules and resources to optimize delivery and reduce delays.
• Prepare inspection reports, daily logs and progress documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors to resolve design conflicts.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance on all sites.
• Manage contract administration including change orders, claims and warranties.
• Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to senior management and clients.
• Implement corrective actions for deviations and track resolution to completion.
• Maintain comprehensive project records for compliance and reference.
