Job summary

AECOM in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee construction activities and ensure the architectural designs are implemented per plans. You will coordinate with contractors, engineers and other professionals on-site, monitor material quality and safety compliance, and address issues to keep the project on track.

You will prepare progress reports, maintain site records, and liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in site supervision on construction projects.
• Knowledge of quality control processes.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: Oversee the construction site to ensure that the architectural design is implemented correctly and according to the plans.
• Quality Control: Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
• Coordination: Collaborate with contractors engineers and other professionals to resolve any design or construction issues.
• Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with local building codes safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
• Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site making adjustments to plans as necessary.
• Reporting: Prepare and present progress reports to clients and stakeholders highlighting any deviations from the plan and proposed solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of site activities including daily logs inspection reports and change orders.
• Client Interaction: Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction with the project.
