Job summary

AECOM in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Inspector - Architectural Building Construction to conduct on-site inspections, verify compliance with architectural drawings, codes and quality standards, and document findings.

You will work with architects and engineers, prepare detailed reports, identify deficiencies, ensure safety and regulatory adherence, and support project teams through stages of development.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in building projects and inspections.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical plans.
• Proven experience as a Building Inspector or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections of building construction projects at various stages, documenting findings with precision.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, building codes, and UAE regulations.
• Analyze materials, workmanship and safety to ensure quality standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain records of inspections, violations, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and construction teams to resolve issues.
• Photograph and document progress for project records and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
