Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Telecommunication Engineer (Offshore) to provide technical leadership for telecom systems across FEED and Detailed Engineering in oil and gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The role requires coordinating with electrical, instrumentation, and other disciplines to deliver safe, compliant, and cost-effective telecom solutions.

The position involves offshore site surveys, brownfield assessments, and travel.

Qualifications

Minimum 12 years total experience with 8+ years telecom design in oil & gas (onshore/offshore).
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication/Electronics & Communications or equivalent.
OPITO-approved T-BOSIET/BOSIET and H2S certifications preferred; ADNOC project exposure advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead telecom system design and integration across FEED and Detailed Engineering.
Oversee CCTV, PAGA, RF, PIDS, and telecom subsystems for offshore facilities.
Coordinate site surveys, vendor studies, and technical bid evaluations.
Ensure QA/QC and regulatory compliance across disciplines and interfaces.
Mentor junior engineers and manage deliverable quality and schedules.
