Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Telecom Engineer for Offshore FEED projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will lead telecom system design, specifications, and deliverables across offshore platforms, PAGA, CCTV, data networks, and radio systems, ensuring compliance with client requirements and international standards.

The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, conducting network and propagation analyses, and supporting safety reviews while guiding offshore telecom engineering for FEED and EPC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, electronics, electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of telecom engineering experience.
• At least 5+ years in offshore oil & gas FEED and EPC projects.
• Experience on offshore platforms, FPSOs, substations or petrochemical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead FEED telecom design for offshore facilities.
• Develop telecom design basis, philosophy and architecture documents.
• Prepare FEED deliverables and telecom equipment lists.
• Conduct telecom calculations, coverage studies and link budgets.
• Coordinate with vendors, review proposals and conduct TBE.
• Interface with electrical, mechanical, safety and client teams.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, ITU, IEEE, NFPA, SOLAS, NORSOK and local standards.
